O Canada at a Kitchener Ranger hockey game

Over forty members of our group sang O Canada at the Ranger game against the Brantford Bulldogs. We were hoping for a repeat of last year’s big win, but that was not to happen.
After the home team scored the first goal, Brantford scored five straight and lead 5-1 after two periods. The Rangers roared back with four unanswered goals in the third, and went on to win the game 1:09 into OT! Another Ranger win with KJ doing O Canada!
2023 CFU Junior Tamburitza Festival

This year our group went to Indianapolis to participate in the CFU festival. While we only had a small number, we managed to perform a dance number, as well as several tambura numbers.

2022 Tamburafest

Our intermediate and senior tamburaši entertained the audience with Prozor stare majke and Dobro je.
We look forward to seeing everyone in Kitchener for next year’s Tamburafest!

We weren’t a large group, but we were the only group from Canada that managed to go to Baltimore for the Festival!

2020 HKFS Virtual Tamburafest

Since we weren’t able to come together to prepare a song for Tamburafest, KJ decided to think outside the box–or better said, outside the egg carton–and do a lip sync to the old song by Zona Ozona, Jaje.
